You do: Try it out!
When learning new information and strategies I challenge my scholars to think critically and use their prior knowledge as a base.
-
We Do: Let's brainstorm!
Our second step is working things out as a class. Scholars need to listen to the ideas of others to inspire their own.
-
I do: create a model
Once the class has established a base and collectively thought of solutions, I present a model to set the standard for the information and strategies needed for the lesson. These models help scholars for future lessons and problems they might face.
Course structure
We will be using the My Perspectives course book for the 6th grade. There are 5 units total that we will go over throughout the year.
